Solar cookers use free energy to save money for the poor

SHE works in countries with abundant sunshine on projects tailored to suit the local environment. This report shares SHE’s experience of partnering with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) on a project in Tilori, Haiti. The integrated cooking pilot project, combining solar cookers and fuel-efficient stoves, aimed to support TNC’s reforestation activities in the bordering area of the Dominican Republic.
